Can it convert bank statements?
Yes. Bank statement mode finds the Date, Narration, Debit/Withdrawal, Credit/Deposit and Balance columns, including Indian and Hindi-English headings. Amounts like 1,23,456.78 Cr become numbers, dates become real Excel dates, and totals are checked against the closing balance.
Does it work on scanned PDFs?
Not directly. A scan is a picture with no text to read. Run OCR PDF first, then convert the result to Excel.
Will every table come out perfectly?
Simple tables with clear columns work best. Merged cells and unusual layouts can need some tidying. If tables are missed, try "Every line as a row". This tool is in beta.
