Yes. HEIC photos are converted to JPG while they are compressed, on your device.
How do I compress a photo to 2 MB?
Add the photo, keep the target at 2048 KB and press Compress. We test quality levels until the file is just under 2 MB, and only shrink the pixels if needed.
Do you upload my photo?
No. The image is compressed in your browser and never sent to a server.
Which format will I get?
The same format as your original by default (HEIC becomes JPG). You can switch to JPG, WebP or PNG in the settings.
