Questions
Will converting to PNG make the background transparent?
No. A JPG has no transparency to keep. To cut out the subject, use our Remove background tool, which saves a transparent PNG.
Why is the PNG bigger than my JPG?
PNG is lossless, so it stores every pixel exactly. That makes photos bigger. Use PNG when you need to edit without further quality loss.
