Questions
What is kept?
Headings, paragraphs, bold, italic, links, bullet and numbered lists, tables, block quotes, code blocks and images that are inside the file (for example data: images). Page styles from CSS, like columns, backgrounds and custom fonts, are not applied.
Are pictures from the web included?
No. Images linked from other websites are left out, because fetching them would contact those sites. Images embedded in the file are kept, and you are told when some were left out.
Does it work with Hindi and other languages?
Yes. Text keeps its real characters, and the PDF uses Noto fonts for Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Arabic and many more scripts.
Can I convert a website by its address?
No. PDFToast never fetches pages for you. Open the page in your browser and use Print, then Save as PDF, or save the page as HTML and convert the file here.
Is it free to convert HTML files to PDF?

Do you upload my files?
No. LibreOffice, the open-source office suite, runs inside your browser as WebAssembly, so your file is read and converted on your device. The only download is the engine itself, the first time you use it.
Why is the first conversion slower?
The Office engine is a full copy of LibreOffice, about 80 MB. Your browser downloads it once and keeps it, so later conversions start in a few seconds.
